Slotted Cheese Head Screw

Slotted Cheese Head Screws – DIN 84 with Slots Screws are frequently preferred for use in home appliances and many automotive applications because they are produced to the DIN 84 standard or ISO 1207 specifications.
They have a single slot drive and cylinder head form similar to Brass Slotted Pan Head Screws to DIN 85, however they have a flat top and a deeper drive socket to permit higher torque levels.
When greater head strength is needed, the head height, which is about half that of the head diameter, is perfect.
Instead of utilizing a power driver, fasteners should be tightened with a conventional flat blade screwdriver to avoid damaging the fastening material by over tightening.
